Sonapur Minerals and Oil Limited is the largest cement manufacturer in western Nepal. The company is headquartered in Battisputali, Kathmandu. The cement plant is spread across 100 acres of land in Bijauri, a strategic location at Dang district that ensures easy availability of high grade limestone.

SMOPL’s product range is including Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Pozzolana Portland Cement (PPC). The manufactured cement is marketed through a dealer network resulting the one of the largest market share in Nepal. The plant has been producing clinker and cement since 2010 A.D. It has currently production capacity of 3500 ton per day (TPD), After completion of expansion of plant, the production capacity will increase to 5000 TPD per annum.
